Pentagram with Blood Red Beads by Psy-Sub Pentagram with Blood Red Beads by Psy-Sub
Sometimes I have to remind myself that this is a hemp necklace :-) I started designing these gothic style hemp necklaces about 10 years ago, when I realized that the only thing around was natural hemp and boring designs. So I spiced it up with blood red glass beads, silver beads, pentagram charm to give thanks to my pagan roots, and dangly elegant chains. I actually usually have quite a few variations of this type of design in my shop.

Er...isn't that a pentacle, by the way? Pentagrams are upside down.

technically, a pentacle is when the sides are all straight and no circles are involved. The pagans use the word pentacle to differentiate from the satanic group, but its not the correct or traditional usage.

The pentagram is a symbol. The pentacle is an altar tool.  The "gram" means that it is written or drawn. Actually the pentacle is a customized pentagram.

Don't be so hard on yourself. A neck is a neck, and from your picture I'm sure yours is fine :)

Yeah, the Josephine knot is pretty nice looking. I actually haven't gotten around to that one yet :-) I usually end up making up my own knots because I am kind of a stubborn learner lol.
Goes to show how we both have our own unique crafting qualities.
I'd like to check your stuff out too sometime if you have any pics.
